Back in Vancouver now, tired from my excellent trip Back East.
One last comment: On Saturday night, when I arrived at the Rivoli, there was a line-up outside.
The security guard let me through, seeing that I had a pass.
Once inside, there was a further line-up.
The bouncer, seeing my pass, put me at the front of the line, where the event staff member told me it was simply too full. A couple of people left, for a smoke, and so were supposed to be let back in (ie - their leaving wouldn’t constitute a change in attendees), but the staff member said ‘you’re media, so why don’t you just sneak on in and if need be, I just won’t let those two back in’.
Yeah, baby, yeah!
