It appears that indeed, Famous Players has again locked out its projectionists, as I had been wondering earlier. According to Monday Magazine news, the chain offered projectionists (who were making upwards of $33/hr in 1999) $10/hr in their new contract.
This is after the previous settlement, in 2000, after a 16-month lockout that saw the projectionists take a pay cut to $15/hr.
