So I was on the phone with a client down in Santa Barbara, CA, when all of a sudden, he interrupted me and said ‘Hold on --- there’s an earthquake’, and left.
Then the line went dead.
Apparently, it measured 6.5, and was centred near Cambria, not that far north of Santa Barbara.
